I am a communications expert, turned military officer and specialise in combining these two worlds into one. Not your typical army officer, I have gained most of my experience in the civilian world where I worked as a political consultant and communications expert. As a millennial my path was shaped towards specialising in digital communications and today I am proud to have the unique opportunity to combine many different paths of my life in one job 🔀

As Director Digital Communications for the first ever Invictus Games in Germany, I combine my higher education in the UK, my training as an army reserve officer with Germany‘s mountain infantry and my civilian career as an expert in digital political communications 📲

In the course of my career I have developed a deep interest and understanding of political communications. I am fascinated by the dark side of this world and follow developments in propaganda, disinformation and information warfare. These interests bring together the worlds of political communications and international security policy and thus underpin and inform both my civilian and military career paths 🎓🤝🪖

They also allow me to offer my expertise as a commentator and guest author for news outlets and industry publications 🎥🗞

In my free time my family has priority, but I try and take at least one hour every day to drive one of my personal projects forward. Be that by working on my 1974 VW van, going for a run or writing. I try to never stand still and challenge myself on a daily basis 🛠
